What should I expect after gallbladder surgery?

What should I expect after gallbladder surgery?

Since the gallbladder stores the bile that is needed to aid in the digestion of fat, what happens when the gallbladder is removed? Where is the bile stored? Is there now a problem with eating foods high in fat?

hi, i had my gall bladder out 6 years ago and yes i have really bad reflux since i have. the bile now goes into stomack and gives me bad bad heart burn i live on acid reflux pills everyday.  i would be real careful with fat foods, meatsare hard on you sometimes without a bladder but not everyone is the same, you will have to try your foods and see what works for you and what dont. good luck with it .
