I have been taking sulfasalazine for months now, I can't seem to find anything that will stop the bleeding, anyone recommend a diet or a good perscription?

Contact your doctor if the Sulfasalazine is not working well. (S)he may recommend a switch to Asacol (2 400mg tablets three times a day is the usual dosage).  A newer drug, Dipentum, can also be used in patients who don't tolerate Sulfasalazine. The dosage is generally 2 250mg capsules twice a day.

Hope this helps,
