Why Am I Losing Weight ???? Please Help !!!!!

Hi..... I am 34 yrs old and in the last 5 weeks have lost 6 pounds without trying ! I am very slim anyway and weigh about 12 stone 10  but recently have gone down to 12 stone 5 and I am getting worried . I was having pain in my stomache about a week ago but this has now gone and I have pain now from my groin where I had a hernia repair . I feel dizzy all the time and I can now start to see my ribs and my wrists have gone very thin I have been to the doctors and they have done full bloodworks , urine and stool tests all came back Normal so I am at a loss as what to do I have got an appointment at the hospital for a Gastro test but this is not until oct . If anyone can help then it will be appreciated ...... Clive

The pain in the groin could be from chrons which would also go with the weight loss.  Have you had diarreha?  Glad you are having the gastro tests, this should help them find what is wrong.

Hi .Coughting .. Had no Diarreha but have just had hemaroids clipped inside my anus, so that area is also sore at the minute, that was a week ago prior to that my stools were quite normal but thinnner than normal. I do feel weak and over the last 2 weeks my muscles ached , My partner says the reason Im losing weight is because I worry all the time but I think ther is more going on then just stress and worry ? Thanks ....

Dont want to alarm you. I lost a lot a weight last year and couldnt find a reason. No pain nowhere. Bloodwork etc, came back normal. Doctor ask me if I would consider a colonoscopy as she knew I never had or let it done before a one way direction I always told her. I did give in and they discovered a 3.5 cm hard as a rock mass in my colon. Still dont know why I never had any pain. I had it removed surgically as they couldnt do it with the colonoscopy. I am well now, gained back my weight. And for the record it is not cancer what a relieve.
