I had my Gallbladder removed 3 months ago. Since then I have continued with right side pain in my mid to lower back. I continue also to get stomach cramping, and the occasional diarrhoea. Plus for the past 4 weeks I have woken up every night with severe pain right in the middle of my stomach under my sternumSternum - view of the outside (anterior). My GP has put me on refluxGastroesophageal reflux disease Gastroesophageal reflux in infants Hiatal hernia repair Reflux nephropathy Vesicoureteral reflux medication to stop these bouts but after 3 weeks I have stopped taking these as they have not helped me.
