Why do I have gas pressure and looser stools?

I am 26/m and my stools have been looser the past few weeks.  My diet has not changed and I feel fine.  However, lying down causes a bunch of gas pressure to build in the intestine area.  It is bad when I wake up in the middle of the night but usually when I just lie down for a few minutes it isn't a problem.  Any tips to ask my doctor, thanks.

This is a result of undigested or semidigested food getting pushed back up into you intestines and colon. Bacteria from the redigestion produces gas. Could be a result of
Portal Hypertension.
