Worried

I am 37 year old male. I have been
Having some discomfort in my upper
Right Abdominal quadrant from my
Center breast bone halfway down my
Bottom rib. I have also been bloated
And I get full at meals.  Sometimes sharp
Pains in the same area happen. I just
To my doctor today and he took blood
And is ordering me an ultrasound.  The
Reason why I worry is because my mother
Was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer
9 years ago when she was 49 yes old.  It
Is scary to see that some of the symptoms
I am experiencing are also associated.  I
Don't know what else to ask the doctor for
I am wondering if there is any regular screenin
I can have done for early detections of PC
If everything goes ok with what I am experi
encing right now.

The doctor probably ordered early detection data in your bloodwork. Or it may be your gall bladder or something else entirely. Don't worry about anything until you know you have to.
