Yellowish stool

Hi, I am  logging on here in desperation. I have a yellow stool. Some times dark, some times light, but mostly medium. I can describe it as large loose and...well... it looks like there's an attempt at perforation. It's foul smelling. I pass a lot of wind. I have a feeling of discomfort in the right front lower area, slightly left of the hip bone if that makes any sense. No sensitivity when pressing there. And for the last two weeks, in certain sitting positions I have a vibration sensation. Have checked recently for hepatitus and bloo count is normal. Had colonoscopy and endoscopy three years ago - all good. Slightly fatty liver - and the doc says this is what is causing this. I am not so sure. I am concerned it may be something more serious

Fatty liver is usually caused by something and you want to find out what is causing it to try to improve your symptoms.  Did the dr give you a reason why you have this?  He should have checked you for high cholesterol  diabetes etc .  The underlying cause of the fatty liver could be what is causing the pain and stool issues.

have your stool checked for c. difficle, it causes change in stool and abdominal pain. if your test is positive you will need to take an antibiotic specifically for this bacteria.

The yellow stool has been for over a while - the vibration sensation (groin area) has been for about two weeks and the discomfort has been on and off for several months (which I have mentioned to the do) but lately seems to be worse
