I have had these incapacitating pains in my lower abdomen...they are sharp sometimes and feel awful...sometimes it feels like an air bubble or something and it feels like somehting "popped"....sometimes they are just dull pains...they start either on my left side or right and sometimes radiate to the other...(when i say the pain is lower abdominal it is where i would think my ovaries are....the part where underwear cover and the area below my belly button...never above my belly button..either on my belly button or below...)
How long have you had this? Are you sure it's not some type of virus? Did you try taking anything over the counter. Sometimes I get horrible pains and cramps from my IBS and if I take the Immodium it goes away. It comes back, but at least it will stop the pains for the short term.
See what the doctor says. I am sure you don't have cancer. Maybe it's related to your periods. The blood could be hemmoroids (hemorrhoids) or something from menstruation.
Try not to worry until you see the doctor. It might just be IBS. There's a lot about that on the board.
