my father was diagnosed 3 years ago  with an abdominal aortic aneurism (aneurysm). 3 months ago the aneurism (aneurysm) was measured at 6cm. it is now 18 cm. my father is 82 so they wouldn't operate. yesterday his hb levels dropped to 7.3. he has started with renal failure due to the fact that the aneurism (aneurysm) is pressing on other organs.he had full blood transfusion last night and is now having cameras inserted (both ends) to see where possible bleeds are. can you enlighten me on possible outcomes for the future. thankyou. very concerned daughter

I'm very sorry for everything you and your family are going through right now.  You may want to post this on the "heart disease" forum as there are people over there that have gone through having a AAA.  I wish you and your family luck.
