Dear Jim,
I am uncertain regarding the meaning of an 'incomplete hernia'. Hernias can be associated with nonspecific abdominal pains. Often, young people with such symptoms have irritable bowel syndrome. I suugest that you try increased fiber in your diet and addition of over-the-counter bulking agents such as
MetamucilMetamucil
Metamucil berry burst smooth texture sugar free
Metamucil orange coarse milled original texture
Metamucil orange smooth texture
Metamucil orange smooth texture sugar free
Metamucil unflavored coarse milled original texture
Metamucil unflavored smooth texture sugar free. You should see larger, softer stool that are easier to pass. If the abdominal pain persists after several weeks of treatment, you should see your doctor for additional tests to exclude organic causes for your symptoms.
