abdominal pain with rectum bleeding with and without bowel movement

I have had stomach pain for the past 2 days and when I woke up this morning it was worse then ever. Then when I went to use the bahroom I saw that there was blood on the toilet paper and looked in the toilet and saw that there was what looked like blood clots at the bottom of  the toilet and also blood dripping that almost looked slimey. Everytime I sit at the toilet there is blood and the pain in my abdomen and lower back wont lessen or go away. I am getting nervious.. can someone please help? What can be wrong?

You should seek prompt medical advice since rectal bleeding is never normal.  Type rectal bleeding into google and click on to one of the many sites in order to learn more.  The Medicinenet site is particularly informative.  Then you will be better prepared for your medical consultation.  Unless your doctor can absolutely confirm that the cause of the bleeding is minor (e.g. anal fissure, haemorrhoids etc) then I suggest that you request a colonoscopy.

Don't delay in case the blood loss causes you to become anaemic.
