ok so here it goes,

My husband is 24 and as had these symptoms for about 3 years, was in the military, never deployed due to stomach problem. We have been to doctors in Washington, Oregon and California (mainly emergency room visits) but he has been to specialists as well, and doctors have told us he is a puzzle... please someone help!!!

didn't get all the help needed at the beginning of the pain and stomach acid due to certain instances while in the military, so it got worse.....

here are his symptoms:

--sphincter at the bottom of the esophagus is gone due to stomach acid
- -had a hiatal hernia at the very beginning of all this (beginning of 2011)
--had a laparoscopic nissen fundoplication done, didn't help the pain, swallowing or stomach acid so they dilated esophagus, still didn't help so they reversed the surgery
--constant(literally 24/7) upper right abdominal pain right below the rib.
--look and feel sick
--NO fever
--can't eat as much (eats 1 full meal a day)
--unexplained weight loss in a year (over 50 pounds gone, and has MAYBE 1% body fat)
--gassy
--horrible reflux
--unexplained sudden attacks where the pain is at like a 50 out of a scale 1-10, and during attacks...sweats, chills, white blood cell count increases to almost 3 times the amount its supposed to be at, dry heaving and vomiting, unable to pee
--muscle loss
--tired all the time
--can't stand or lay for long periods of time because of stomach acid coming up and also pain
--can't put pressure on pain sight
--pain feels a little better if sitting up and leaning forward some with arms or pillow between stomach and legs
--can't do really any physical activity (if done, ends up vomiting)
- -pain creates erectile dysfunction
--lightheaded and dizzy
--weak
--headaches (almost everyday)
--every so often difficulties swallowing (food feels stuck about an inch above where the ribs end)
--dehydrated

please someone have an answer

Please, if they find anything write me, because the inflammed part sounds familiar. And my husband says he just wants to be normal again. Please, I know (at least from my point of view) how horrible it is not knowing...and he's just ready to give up...

I suffer from similar issues.  3 trips emergency room due to pain.  2 visits in the past year and 1/2.  My white blood cells were up when I was in the ER last week.  The CT scan showed my bowl and instestines were inflamed.  I'm meeting with a GI doctor next week for further tests.  I've been dealing with this for over 3 years...just hope they can figure it out.  I'm tired of feeling bad all the time.
