abdominal quivers with tingling sensations

For several days I've experienced a quivering/fluttering sensation in the right lower abdominal area lasting for 4-5 minutes, stopping, then starting up again.  I've tried to feel it with my hand, but cannot quite locate it making me think it is too deep to feel rather than near the surface.  There is also a tingling sensation that travels up the right side of my back and right arm each time the quivers starts up again.  It does not last as long as the quiver in my abdominal area.  

I've read several posts from others with similar symptoms, but no one has replied with a diagnosis or if it ever goes away or not on it's own.  I have an appt with my Dr tomorrow, just trying to learn what I can first.  Some have indicated IBS, but I don't really have any other symptoms of IBS.
