achy tummy

Hi, my hubby is type 1diabetic has been for 15yrs. He is 38 works a very heavy job plumbing and heating engineer, he been having a really bad tummy ache for yrs a lot more recently..there's Times hes constipated other times has diaherra every day is different constantly at doctors been for thorough check at hospital tube up his back end the lot all to have come back clear.. it's very very frustrating and worrying he's so uncomfortable he also has a hernia on the side of his tummy. I'm just trying to let u know everything. Plz do u have any ans.
