acid reduction medication

by pballow, Oct 24, 2009 10:22AM
I have been diagnosed with "very limited short segment Barrett's epithelium" and moderate gastritis involving body and fundus of stomach per endoscopy.  Negative for helicobacter pylori.  I don't have any symptoms.  Should I be taking acid reducing medication as a matter of routine or just on an as needed basis for occasional mild heartburn (once or twice a year)?

This discussion is related to Barrett's Epithelium.
