acid reflux

I have acid reflux, the doctor said gastric with no testing done on me. Im on zantac twice a day. I feel so lousy. I don't understand how you get this, or why. Why all of the sudden. I can hardly eat because i get so full . Does anyone know anything that is natural to take that can help me so i don;t have to take the Zantac. Thanks

They can normally diagnose acid reflux on symptoms alone.  My husband found the only thing that helps him is Prilosec.  He has tried many prescription drugs to no avail.  Be careful of so called "natural" drugs.  They are not well regulated like medications and come with many side effects.  The word "natural" tends to make one feel they are better, they're not, and many of their side effects are not known until they happen.
