adhesions

In June of 2000 I had exploratory Surgery for a stabbing incidence I've been having alot of pain over the past 2 years right at the incision sight they've done CT Scans, Capsule study, Upper endoscopy and all are negative I am still having pain I was wondering if it could be possible if I have adhesions from the incison that wouldn't show up on X-Rays or anything what can be done to determine if this is it if you think this is it what should I talk to my GI doctor about when I see her this Friday.

It's very possible you could have adhesions. If all other factors are ruled out, you may want to consult with someone who is trained to work with visceral manipulation. Releasing/gently stretching abdominal or pelvic adhesions can be accomplished using very gentle techniques that may solve the problem. Visceral work is used by osteopaths in Europe frequently, however it's only starting to gain acceptance in the U.S. - but it works.
