advice please

Immediately after I eat I feel like I've been kicked in the middle of my stomach, above my belly button. I have gained 15pounds in a few months time which is extremely unusual for me. My stomach also is bloated. Is it my gallbladder?

Hi,
How are you? What other symptoms are present? Gallbladder disease is a common condition which may present with discomfort to severe pain after  food intake. The most common reason for gallbladder disease is gallstones and may be diagnosed with imaging studies such as ultrasound.  The possibility of developing gallstones increases with age, family history, obesity, high blood cholesterol level, or presence of conditions such as chronic intestinal inflammation. If the symptoms persist, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation and to rule out other possible issues like acid peptic diseases. Take care and regards.

Hello,
A complete clinical examination is necessary for diagnosing your condition. The common causes of pain in upper abdomen after eating are gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, reflux disease, pancreatitis etc.Gall bladder pain is usually felt in the right upper quadrant of the stomach and there will be associated symptoms like nausea, vomiting etc. You should see a doctor and get evaluated. A clinical examination and work up is necessary for correct diagnosis and management. Test like ultrasound may be helpful. Do keep me posted.
Best luck and regards!
