after gallbladder surgery - still same symptoms

i had my gallbladder removed 8 weeks ago. before, i had sudden bouts of pain, in the middle of my rib cage. it felt like someone was blowing up a basketball between my ribs. also, i was horribly bloated. so much so, my clothes do not fit. finally, i had my gallbladder removed. for the first week, i felt better, not so bloated, no pain. in the past four weeks, my bloating has returned, and i have had throwing up attacks like  before. not as painful, but more frequent and just as uncomfortable. can anyone tell me if this has happened to them? it is not something "livable", i feel like there may be other things going on.

WILL DO. THE LOSING 10 POUNDS ( ALTHOUGH I KNOW BEING SICK IS NOT THE BEST WAY) SOUNDS GOOD. I'M NOT A LARGE PERSON TO BEGIN WITH, BUT THATS WHAT STARTED THE WHOLE FIND A SOLUTION TO WHATS WRONG TO BEGIN WITH. I HAD GAINED 20-25 LBS, AND ALL IN THE STOMACH. MY EATING HABITS DIDNT CHANGE, AND ACTUALLY FOR A MONTH BEFORE FINDING THE PROBLEM WAS MY GALLBLADDER, ALL I ATE WAS YOUGURT. ONE A DAY, AND WALKED A TREDMILL 2 MILES A DAY. I SHOULD HAVE LOST HALF MY BODY WEIGHT, BUT I STILL KEPT GETTING BIGGER. I KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO PICK UP A FEW POUNDS, WE ALL DO. BUT I ALSO KNOW MY BIDY, AND THIS IS NOTHING I HAVE EVER HAD BEFORE. AS STUPID AS THIS SOUNDS, I CAN REMEBER WHEN THIS ALL STARTED. I HAD JUST GOTTEN BACK FROM VACATION IN AUGUST. ON VACATION, I ATE OYSTERS ON THE HALFSHELL, SOMETHING I HAD NEVER ATE. DOES ANYONE THINK MAYBE THIS HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH MY WHOLE SITUATION? THE BLOATING, ACTING UP MY GALLBLADDER ( WHICH WAS BAD), STILL BEING SICK?

I'm having the same problems. I had my gallbladder removed 3 weeks ago. I was warned by everyone about the diarrhea. Not me. I only go if I take a laxative. Nothing else works. I'm also still having bouts of throwing up. I am so very tired of being sick. I thought the surgery would fix things, I'm not so sure. I lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks I was so sick before the surgery. The only good thing since the surgery is that I don't have the severe pain that would keep me up at night. Hope things work out for you andif you find a solution with using the restroom please let me know.

I haven't been the same since my gallbladder came out 5 years ago. Can't eat any fat at all.
I will vomit. I have attacks periodically that send me to the floor(severe abdominal pain)-had ERCP done and they found nothing.  The pain is bad when I have it. Good Luck and hope you don't end up like me-

YES, I USUALLY DO NOT EAT ALOT OF FATTY OR GREASY FOODS ANYWAY. WHEN I THROW UP, I AM BRING UP JUST A BROWN FEATHERY SUBSTANCE. I ASSUME IT IS TEA OR SODA. SOMETIMES, I HAVE EATEN BEFORE I GET SICK, SOMETIMES NOT. NO, I AM NOT HAVING DIARRHEA. IF ANYTHING IT IS THE OPPOSITE. I HAVE HEARD PEOPLE DO AFTER THIS SURGERY SOMETIMES, AND AT FIRST, I WAS HAVING TROUBLE WITH THAT, BUT NOW I'M BACK TO "STOPPING UP".

Are you following a low fat diet? Many people find they have trouble following gallbladder surgery in that they can't process fats as they did preiously. It's possible that some of the problems could be coming from that.

When you're trhowing up, what are you bringing up? Are you also experiencing diarrhea?
