alcohol and the hepatitis b vaccine

  Is it true that when u get the hepatitis b vaccine that u are not allowed to drink alcohol or u will end up in the hospital??

Dear Jasmin,
We are not aware that drinking alcohol around the time you have taken the hepatits b vaccine causes any serious effects.  Obviously, it is recommended you limit alcohol intake to as low as possible in general due to the serious ill effects alcohol can have on the liver.
