I logged in here wondering the same thing.  I did a search under Alkaline phosphate and seems that it can be pretty serious to have a high level.  Wondering just high it would have to be, or is it a gradual increase as time goes on?  You may read by doing the search also but for me I'm going to talk with the doctor I work for, who also had ordered xrays and the lab work, this morning.  I am having upper quadrant deep aching under right rib cage, and this morning severe leg cramp woke me up.  Hope you get a good report on yours.
