anal discomfort

I've had a constant anal discomfort for about 4 days now.  It feels like it would right before a normal bowell movement.  The pain goes away after I pass gas for about a minute.  There has been no blood in my stool or on the wipe paper.  And, its not a burning sensation its a like a pressure discomfort.  I was wanting to ask what it could be, and if a suppository would do more harm then good.

hello i have the same anal discomfort but nearly all the time and its worse when i need to go to the toilet , its really annoying  and i have sometimes been a little sore and discomfort in my stomach and feeling sick ,i also go to the toilet quite alot nearly every time i need to urinate ,i would like some suggestions into what it could be ,ive been to the doctor because i was eneamic and he said i was too young to get bowel cancer , he had already done some cancer tests at the same time to see if i had cancer in my body which were negative but i am still worried about it ,i would like some suggestions into what to do now because i have three children and dont want to leave it too late in case it is something bad
