any information you can give me on gastrectomy and the symptoms you incurred over the illness and operation

I am contemplating a gastrectomy or the gastric stimulator. I would really like some feed back on these types of surgeryies. If you can help please fill me in on the illness and the symptoms or what you had to face after teh gastrectomy surgery. I go to the doctor on May 19th to discuss this issue with him and i just want to have my ducks in a row to discuss other avenues as well. i have gastroparesis due to my vagal nerve being severed therefore my stomach does not work. i look forward to hearing from you soon.
