back pain and eating

  I have been suffering from pain between my spine and right rib for about 6 months. It's related to eating. the doctor checked the gallblader it was ok,  i feel the pain mostly when sallowing. sometimes when i eat i get heart burn so bad it feel more like a heat attack. it also hurt to tuch under my right rib colser to the midddle of chest. what could this possible be?

Possible causes for your pain include esophageal spasm, esophagitis, ulcer disease and pancreatic inflammation.  You will need upper endoscopy as your next test.  Subsequent testing will depend on how your physician determines the relative risk of the different tests.
