bile reflux causing nausea?

by kodieboy, Aug 19, 2001 12:00AM
Hi!

Approximately three weeks ago, I began suffering from nausea.  I was unable to leave my home.  I had the same thing occur five years ago right after I married.  My doctor thought that with the symptoms I may have gallbladder disease.  The ultrasound showed no abnormalities.  The Hydra-scan showed that my gallbladder was functioning at 54% but bile was being pushed back into my stomach.  Not alot of bile, but somewhat.  My doctor and radiologist agree that I probably have gastritis related to the bile reflux.  I am now being treated with Protonix, Levbid, and Klonopin.  The last time this occurred it resolved gradually.  I was wondering how all of this sounded and if you may have any suggestions that I could pass along to my doctor.

Thanks in advance!
