I am 46 years old and I have been diagnosed with diverticulitis. I had a colonoscopy, motility, ph, and endoscopy done. My symptoms vary anywhere from bloated stomach, regurgitationAortic insufficiency Mitral regurgitation - acute Mitral regurgitation - chronicyellowYellow fever vaccine Yellow nail syndrome, foamy bitter substanceDrug abuse. After the endoscopy I was told by esophagusBarrett’s esophagus Esophageal cancer Esophageal perforation Esophagitis Esophagus Esophagus and stomach anatomy was clean. After the colonoscopy I was told that I had diverticulitis and hemorriods. The motility test show I had good swallowing skills. The ph test showed that i had bile coming from my stomach. My symptoms are vary at times where I feel i can't catch my breath and my chest hurts my stomach is bloated as if I am 4-5 months pregnant. I feel desparate as if I can't burp and when I do I sometimes get a severe bitter taste and at other times I just throw up yellow foamy substance. There are times that I feel like I am going to have a heart attack. I can't even sleep. I struggle to catch my breath trying to burp and when I try I throw up. I can drink about a bottle of malox in about 2 days and take anywhere from 1 to 2 zantacs a day. I have taken nexium and prilosec but not long enough to get good results because I do not have insurance. My tech and RN looked at my PH test and basically ask me if I was alright, what that means I don't know. I was told my Dr will contact me and let me know. Meanwhile Im is dealing with this on a daily basis. I am afraid to eat and when I do I eat very little in hopes that I don't get sick. I do well when I don't eat but my stomach growls louder than a grizzly bear, go figure. Just for the record I had my PH and motility test on Thursday and they just removed my ph tube on Friday the 15th. Oh I cough alot as if I have fluid in my lungs I do hear some wheezing I don't know if this is a factor. Can someone relate?
