I AM A 31 FEMALE AND  HAD MY GALLBLADDER REMOVED MORE THAN 8 YRS AGO. I AM A SMOKER ALSO AND MORE THAN OFTEN I WILL THROW UP BILE,  YELLOW DISGUSTING BILE. I FEEL NAUSAETED FIRST , AND IT IS ALWAYS IN THE MORNING. IT HAPPENS MORE WHEN I MENSTRATE. I THOGHT IT HAD TO DO WITH SMOKING BUT I AM NOT A HEAVY SMOKER, AND I HAVE VOMITED BILE ON DAYS WHEN I HAVE NOT BEEN SMOKING. IS THIS NORMAL WITH A MISSING GALLBLADDER OR SHOULD I SEE A DOCTOR. I HAD SUGGESTED IT TO MY DOCTO R ONCE, HE SAID IF I DRINK ALCOHOL AND ARE NOT USE TO IT , I COULD THROW UP BILE, BUT I DRINK VERY OCCASSIONALLY AND STILL THROW UP BILE. WHAT SHOULD I DO.

in the meantime while waiting (should have mentioned this..) try I think it's called prilosec or acid reducers...tums with calcium..anything to calm and lower that acidity (but don't over do it..causes constipation)

anyway good luck!

yikes no, i'd avoid spicey foods, get on a very bland diet..stop the smoking/alchohol quick and get to a GI specialist asap..might be having reflux or some stomach valve issue going on :S  throwing up bile is def. a problem for doctors to help you on.  Could be a variety of things/reflux/ploryi valve problem..probably need an endoscope honestly.  But yeah consult a GI or ask your doctor to refer you to a GI.

Good luck! :S
