black specks in bowel movement

I have been noticing black specks frequently in bowel movements for a week or two. History of IBS but increased bouts of discomfort, bloating recently. Are black specks indication of blood coming from elsewhere or the colon?

Blood from the colon would be red. Usually only the blood from the stomach (or any organ "above" it) or duodenum cause black stool.

Black specks may be clumps of bacteria or parasites that both can cause bloating. I suggest you to have Ova & Parasites test of the stool.
