bloated pressure in abdomin(abdomen) and pain in back

by tot629, Jan 14, 2009 10:25AM
i have had abdominal bloating ( almost feels swollen) for the last few weeks.  had some lower abdominal pain.  constipation which got resolveds with a stool softener, lots of fluids, and prayer.  had constipation for well over a week.  woke up this morning with pressure and pain in right shoulder blade and when i tried to take a deeper breath, it hurt in the upper right abdomin (abdomen).  have had lots of belching and some gas.  saw a doctor last friday and was checked for vaginal ultrasound monday.  no preg's and cyst on the left side (i am assuming my left and not their left).  i have pain in lower right abdominal area and doc ruled out appendix issue with exam.

i just checked my temp and it was 99.3 .  have a earliest gastro appointment on friday.  was unsure if this relates to gall stones, appendix, inflammation of stomach.  i took one tylenol and after a few minutes, it seems like the bloating on the right side went down.

lastly, i take aspirin every day due to a previous positive test to a blood disorder.  been on coumadin and plavix, but docs got me off and said stay on aspirin for safe keeping. aspirin can cause stomach issues.  so what do i do?

any advise?  thanks.

I've had the same problem now for about 3 months.  I've had the lower ab ct scan and everything was normal.  My doc put me on miralax for (5) days (1) time daily and it has really eased up the pressure.

I know this is just a bandaid, but you may want to try it.  Do you still have a gallbladder?
