bloated stomach that is rock hard all the time

i have a  bloated stomach and it is rock hard

How long has this been going on for?  Have you had any changes in your bowel movements?  Have you seen a doctor about this problem?  It might be lactose intolerance so I would recommend eliminating 100% of all lactose (no milk, cheese, butter, ice cream, yogurt, etc.) for 2 weeks and see if that helps.

no i have not really had any big changes to my diet except i have been drinking more milk than i use to.    I can hardly eat now with out feeling completly full after a few bites.    Then after i do eat this small amount i usually get a stomach ache and take tums.   After 30 minutes or so it settles down but my stomach is then rock hard for a while.   Just does not make sense.  Any advise.
