i have been noticing small amounts of blood on the toilet paper after passing a stool. What could cause this?

sounds like hemmorhoids.  you don't mention your name, but seeing as what you signed your name as i'm going to guess your wayyyyy too young for anything serious like colon cancer if thats what your worried about.  if you're worried, go see your doc, but generally bright red blood on the toilet paper is nothing but hemmorhoids, at the most a fissure.  hope i've helped!

hello ive been noticing a little blood on the toilet paper after i go the bathroom. i am a male of 18 years of age.  there seems to be more blood each time i go. wut should i do?

I am 33 male. Had occasional blood spots on tp, usually after explosive bowel movement, for about a year. Also rectal itching after bowel movement. My doc thinks I have ibs due to other symptoms such as occasional cramps, gurgling and diarhea (diarrhea). I have discovered psylium which has vastly improved my stools. I seem to get diarhea (diarrhea) and blood spots a day or two after drinking alcohol.
