Could elevated amylace and lipase levels have anything to do with diverticulitis?

I am not familiar with diverculitis but I do know elevated lipsase and amylase is a sign of pancreatitis which can come from many things like meds, cystic fibrosis, genetics, alcohol, or high tryglicerides.  Did you dr mention this?

The enzymes you mentioned would not be elevated as a direct result of diverticulitis.

Hey just wondering if you have had an diagnosis for the raised amylase? I have had amylase of 140,no one seems concerned but I am as I have read a lot about pancreas issues. i have had ongoing nausea for 3 months which just over the last week seems to have eased.
Would love to hear how you faired with your reading.
thanks
