bowel movements

by nikko858, Jun 01, 2009 06:06PM
I am a 39 yr. old man. I have the problem of having a bowel movement between 5 or 10 minutes after every meal. I' ve heard several people tell me it is healthy to have frequent bowel movements, but is this normal or healthy? I am also under weight(125 lbs.) for my height( 5' 3"). On top of this, my bowel movements are so frequent, that they are creating hemorroids (hemorrhoids). Is there anything I can take over the counter or should I see my doctor?

I would definitely see your doctor. Having a bowel movement after every meal is not normal.
