bowel obtructions

by lorac48, Nov 05, 2008 07:19AM
I have had @ least 9 surgeries. The last being 2 years all but one foot of my small bowel removed. I am left with severe loose bowel movements and chronic pain and nausea. My GI doc has been very empathic and he has tried many different treatments. Currently I have been on pain meds and IV fluid and nausea meds to just treat symtoms. Does anyone out there have the same problem? All the problems now are not from the chrohns but from all the adhesions and scar tissue that have resulted from all surgeries that I have needed .

This discussion is related to after effects of surgery for small bowel obstruction caused by endometrial stric.
