bowels and food particles

I hope this is not to much information but I am just curious if I should be worried.  Over the last year I have improved my diet and I am eating much more fruits and vegetables then I use to, I am also drinking more water.  For the first time ever , I am having a bowel movement almost everyday.  However, they quite freauently contain mucous and chunks of food, or undigested food particles.  Why am I not digesting my food?  Is this normal?   Sorry if this is too much information.  Thank you

Do you have any pain?  You could have a malabsorbtion problem,  although I'm not sure,  not a doctor.  Mucous in the stool can mean a lot of things.  If you are worried about it,  I suggest seeing a gastroenterologist.
