bowels,bloody mucous

Within the last day, have bloody mucous.  Am on various meds, including 2 more remaining doses of vancromycin.  Could this be from any meds?

Why were you on this drug?  Vancomycin is often used to help those with ulcerative colitis (cramping diarrhea with blood and mucus in stools).  You need to get checked out by a doctor.

Hi - I had a skin infection around my fistula area (hemodialysis).  I am seeing the doctor at the dialysis center tomorrow.  I also checked the internet and discovered that it causes muscle cramps, which I also had yesterday (severe) and bloody mucous inn stool.  Since I've been on it intravenously for about 2 weeks and only have 2 more treatments, I'm asking not to do the remainder until the doctor shows up tomorrow am.
