bowels

by manghia, Aug 29, 2009 06:34AM
for many years i have had a condition with bowel movements, i would not go to the toilet for several days then the next morning i would be in the toilet for an hour excreting all faeces, along with release i would suffer pains in my abdomin (abdomen) and also feeling shivers. once i finish my bowel movement i would feel over whelmingly free. there would be no constipation, just no bowel movement for 3 - 5 days even, making me feel lifeless and lethargic. i went to my local gp for answers and he said that everyone is different but whenever i did go to the toilet i would always have to go throught this excruciating pain. i discovered black coffee and began drinking it everymorning and i foung that this would help in bowel movements which had become more frequent, (every day).

before having started to drink a cup of strong black coffee i had taken a trip overseas to thailand for 10 nights, the trip was exciting but on the second last night of my stay i was taken to a local hospital suffering from severe vomiting, dehydration and diareaha. i had contracted gastroenteritis and was immediately put on the drip to rehydrate my system. i had no energy, my belly was noticeably bloated and i was phycologically scared temporarily at how violent my symptoms were.when the doctor saw i was better he signed me out and i immediately returned to australia and had an extra week off work to recover.ever since i contracted this virus my digestive system has not been the same. two weeks after i returned i was diagnosed with a severe chest infection that lasted months and i was put on antibiotics. i improved then a month later had the same chest infection and lasted another several months.i am now fully recovered from my chest infection and it has been a year and a half without complication.

my stool has a light brown colour to it like it was when i fell ill overseas and i have experienced or felt like something crawling around my rectum or anus and with it came slight itchiness, this still occurs sometimes but have never been relieved of the bloating symptom. when i returned i gained 8 kilos due to the urge to eat large amounts of food rapidly. i thought that it might have been the caffeine i was drinking as i knew it speeds up the metabolic rate. my release of gasses would result in a highly (unbarable smell).my stool has recently been loose but i would not say dhiarrea and when passing gas i would sometimes notice tiny fluid amounts in my underpants indicating leakage. i am no longer drinking coffe to see if my digestive system returns to the same old pattern before i left for overseas but my questions are:.

could this be a condition getting worse?
could i still have parasitic bacteria in my tissue?
could the chest infection be bacteria that has made its way from my intestines to my lungs through the blood?
would the continued discolouration of my stool as light brown indicate that a foreign parasite or virus is still present?
would the symptoms of crawling sensation and itchiness in the anal region indicate bacterial manifestation in the bowels or digestive tract?
would a detox of my digestive system be a safe an effective means to eliminate any parasitic presents?
should i have considered colonoscopy or other tests a long time ago rather then now?
would mercury poising from fillings be a possible cause of these symptoms?
could food stuck in teeth be dangerous for my digestive system even if i brush regularly?
