for the past few weeks i have noticed red blood on the tissue paper but recently there has been alot of bright red blood on the paper and in the bowl

bowl movements are normal no stomach pain or pain during movements

i am currently taking naproxen 250mg, co-dydramol 10/500mg amd amitriptaline 25mg for backpain

i am unsure of this and am curently waiting for an appointment with the doc.

Blood in the stool is never normal.  Causes vary widely - but can include hemorrhoids, diverticulosis, a polyp, colon cancer, anal fissure, colitis etc.

The naproxen you are taking can lead to the blood in the stools as well.

I would consider an endoscopy for a more definitive diagnosis.  This can be either a colonoscopy or flexible sigmoidoscopy and can be discussed with your personal physician or in consultation with a GI physician.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.

I am a 17 year old male and i have also noticed that the last 3 movements i have had there has been bright red blood on the paper once i have finished. I am not feeling any pain at all and my movements are still normal. I am wondering if hemeroids is causing this or just torn lining from a stiff movement i had in the past week some help would be nice before i consult a doctor and have other people know about this sick stuff.
