burned uvula

I vomitted heavily this morning.  It appears the bile (yellow) from my stomach has iritated my uvula as it is now swollen/enlarged and tender, hanging down much further than normal (not unlike a sory throat).  What can I do to alleviate this? I have since stopped vomitting.

Gargle with some warm salt water and buy yourself some sore throat lozengers.  Also try sipping some warm water with lemon or some warm tea. Your problem will clear up fast the mouth and tongue are one of the fastest healing areas on your body.
