c-dif or e-coli

My 13 yr old son has had collitis like symptions for ca. 7 days.  He had been having a bowel movememnt about 5-10 minutes after eating food.  this went on for approx. 5 days.  On day 6 all symptoms dissapaered and he had no abdomonal discomfort or bowel movements. Today (day 7) he again is having bowel movements ca. 5-1 0 minutes after earing.   He has had multiple stool tests and none have shown any parasites but we  are awaiting results for c-dif. It is unlikely to be ulcerative collitis due to the rapid onset.  No blood has been seen in his stools

any thoughts on what else to look for?

C-diff causes a typical barnyard smell of the stool.

13 is a young age and non typical to have ulcerative colitis or cancer.
E.coli would be detected during routine stool culture test.

Was he having any pain, abdominal cramping, and if yes, where exactly? What was the color of the stool?

Beside food/water poisoning, celiac disease, lactose intolerance or food allergy would be possible.
