cancer?

my dr told me that i have h-pylori. she gave me two antibiotics  to treat  it   i still have the symptoms and they are getting worse my throat is  hurting i cant swallow food or drink with out severe  pain and feeling like it is stuck... this  is getting worse by the day, i also have severe acid reflux  and have had gatric bypass which caused pancretitis and recurring kidney stones... my concern is that  my husband was diagnosed with hypolori two years ago and they treated it over and over  as we had noinsurance no further treatment were done... now i have no husband...  he had the same exact symptoms for a good year or so..  suddnly they found cancer in his lymh nodes and ssaid that it had to have been somewhere else first i honestly believe that it was stomach cancer or throat cancer from the h-pyloi  this scares me as i still have no ins. im self pay and they say i need endoscopy and coloscopy but cant get it,, i am really scared as i have  14 yr old daughter whosuddenly lost her dad in june  all she has is me  could these symptoms cause stomach cancer/

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  I don't think you have stomach cancer or any other type of cancer.  What treatment did you get for the H Pylori?

I was just treated for H Pylori, same as you- 2 antibiotics. I did not get any issues related to the throat area, but I did my stomach.

My gastro told me most of the population will have H Pylori, however, some will never get symptoms from it. I just happened to get them. My stomach would burn so bad every time I ate something.

I got the breathe test after treatment & it seems like the antibiotics erradicated the infection. The infection can come back & different antibiotics may be needed.

If you are getting worse you need to go back to your doctor. I have also had a lot of lymph nodes removed (3) because they wanted to make sure it was not cancerous. I had two in the neck area & one behind my ear. Luckily they were NOT cancerous, however, I have two more enlarged lymph nodes in the throat area so now I must go see an ENT to see if he can figure out why. I don't think I have cancer for I don't have any of the symptoms except night sweats but I am female & 40 so that is what we chalk that up too...
