My husband has an issue with gluten, and follows a strict gluten-free, casein-free diet since he found out he was cross-reactive to casein. Unlike many celiacs who have diarrhea, he had mild constipation.

You may want to see if you're cross-reactive to casein. Many people with celiac disease are. It doesn't automatically mean constipation, but it can also impact your digestive system adversely, so it's something to check out.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR RESPONSE...  I DID NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT CASEIN-FREE DIET, BUT I KNOW AS TIME HAS GONE ON, I HAVE HAD TO ELIMINATE MORE AND MORE FOODS BECAUSE OF MY SENSITIVITY TO THEM...

YOUR HUBBY WILL BE IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS...  THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO THINK OF ME...
