just to let you know i suffer from panic attacks, and have done for three years now and the above pains is what i get either all at once or individually and i have been diagnosed with a acid/indegestion problem and have to take 30mg of lanzosrapole a day, and have been on fluoxitine for 2 years at 40mg a day, and because all the pains i get i have been told to take cocodamol 8/500mg, because i cant take ibropurafen because of my other tablets,  now i have just been told to up my fluoxitine to 60mg a day as i have been suffering lately from panic attacks (daily) and i fear i am having a heart attack.      i suffer with all the pains above and my muscles are just so tight so i am constantly taking 2mg diazipam when i get a panic or am so much in pain with my shoulder pains, i have been told that my esophegus could be a fault but i have had ecg and endoscopy recently and ecg came back fine and endoscopy came back with scaring in stomach, what i want to know is all the symptons i have described are what people say to call emergency services because of my symptons, my doctor says im fine and my heart is fine but while im getting all these chest and jaw pains it still makes me have a panic attack, but i talk myself out of it.    what is wrong with me as i keep going to the doctors an he says the same thing " you are fine ther is nothing wrong with your heart as all tests have been done, but why have i chest pains as if i didnt have chest pains or jaw pains i dont think i would panic        thanks for your time      graham, in england

Not sure this question belongs in the GI forum.

I agree with the endoscopy and EKG.  To further evaluate the heart, an echocardiogram combined with a stress test can be considered.

Further evaluation of the upper digestive tract can be done with a gastric emptying scan or 24-hr pH study to exclude gastroparesis and GERD respectively.

The panic attacks should be evaluated by a psychiatrist to optimize treatment.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician.
