chest pain's

for about a week now i have been getting pains in my chest area under my breast, toward the bottom of my ribs, then the pains kept getting worse and then my chest started feeling very heavy, as well as trouble breathing and getting out of breath really fast. i went to our local urgent care center and they said that they dont know what it is. i am waiting to get a appoiuntment with my doctor, but i was wondering if this sounded like it could be anything to you. my mother in law said that a member of there family had kinda the same problems that lasted for a long time and the dr's couldnt figure it out and it ended up beeing her gull bladder. i was wondering if this could be the same thing?

When I had a gallbladder attack, it did feel like a squeezing tightness around my ribcage.  There was also pain on the left side of my back.  Usually people's pain is on the right side when it's the gallbladder, but not always.  It was hard to take a deep breath and I couldn't stand up straight for the pain.

I was recently having very similar problems. Mine started exactly like yours a few weeks ago and then I started having pain after eating, shortness of breath, and then the same symptoms as you as well. I went to the ER and they have told me I have gastritis. They told me to take pepcid. I have been taking it for 5 days and it has helped a little but not enough so I will be going back to my doctor very soon. I have lost 10 lbs in 3 weeks because of this problem. Maybe you should try pepcid. Have you ever had trouble with heartburn or anything like that??

I've also been having this problem for around 4 days now. pain and pressure in the right side of my chest and trouble breathing, I yawn a lot, but I can't catch as much air as I need too. Do you have this problem too?

I went to the ER but they also gave me pepcid, ibuprofen, and some liquid medicine for heart burn. It hasn't been working so far and that worries me.

I've had same symptoms as kramer6287,ghostnoise. 22 yr old female. pain in chest, thru to back shoulder blades left, right side of chest. stabbing in back, headaches, dizzy, nausea, white clammy @ times. diet not much of anything. scared to eat certain foods stick to what i can and what i know. chest. hard to take breath feels force of pressure on chest. happened since nov & dec 09 gone for 3 mths now back in april not gone since. had blood tests, endoscopy, ultrasound, x-rays, have heartburn-zantac helps. not sure what it is. cant find root of problem. still thinking it's gallb. not gerd if it was it wouldnt of gone for 3 mths and came back. not ibs mostly in chest area. stomach is fine.
scared to know what might be that could of been going on for mths and @ this point could look not so good.
