chronic bleeding

by belladonna1971, Mar 30, 2009 06:26AM
After many bouts of bleeding during bowel movements, I had a colonoscopy but nothing was found but a few "irritated" spots, no polyps or nada. I have never been concerned because it is always bright red, but it no longer takes a hard stool to cause this, even normal stools cause this. I can't help thinking this can't be good for my overall health, could there be an increased risk of colon cancer or diverticulosis? Perhaps I should have a colonoscopy every so many years just to be on the safe side?
