chronic inflamation(inflammation)

by Sebas, Nov 14, 2002 12:00AM
I had a erudication of H Pylore back in march, after they found an ulcer in my duodenum, 2 months later the bacteria was not found again at a follow up. But now its 8 months later and i still have a not specified chronic inflamation (inflammation) in my duodenum.
Is this a know thing or is my H pylori back again or is there no cure for me?

The cure rate for H.Pylori is somewhere between 80-95% depending on the treatment you received. So... yes... it is possible that it has returned. In my experience, the best combination of medications to eradicate H.Pylori is a 14 day combination of Amoxicillin, Biaxin and Prevacid. (~95% cure rate).
