chronic oily yellow diarrhea

by tld1973, Dec 07, 2001 12:00AM
Hi, I have chronic pancreatitis and had my gallbladder removed in April of this year, even before my gallbladder was removed I suffered from diarrhea, but now it's much worse, and it's very oily looking, like bright yellow water. I usually go about 4 to up to 8 times a day, with severe stomach cramping. My liver enzymes are elevated too, I take ultrase digestive enzymes to help with digestion and malabsorption, but I haven't seen any changes. does anyone else have this problem, and what was done for it?

Sound like what I had after my gall bladder removal. the doctor told me it was bile that couldn't be processed after gall bladder removal. He put me on Questran and I feel so much better. Check in to it and see if you can go on this
