chronic sbo.

by lorac48, Nov 05, 2008 07:04AM
I have had repeated surgery for crohns (8) now all my problems are scar tissure and sbo. I am currently on pain meds and IV fluids at home.the last surgery i had left me with only about 12 inches of my small bowel. I am in the bathroom all the time with anything from 5-15 bowels daily. I can't see myself going anywhere or a Doctor who might help ( GI ) has asked me to get another opinion which I going to do. However I  realy don't feel too optmistic. Is there anyone who might have the same problem?

This discussion is related to after effects of surgery for small bowel obstruction caused by endometrial stric.
