cirhosis of the liver, pancreatitis,alcohol stages

are there stages of infections, pancreatitis, liver disease.

sure,a person can experience different "stages" as a disease progresses.
worsening symptoms,exct.
for instance pancreatitis tends to go from a initial attack to acute..to chronic and reoccuring to chronic and necrotizing.the pancreas eats on its self as the digestion enzymes activate inside the pancreas instead of in digestion.
it becomes calcified....death usualy follows withen 5 years of first diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis.
no cure,,,nothing can realy be done,just pain managment,as it runs its cource.
