collagenous colitis link with arthritis

Was diagnosed w/ collagenous colitis four years ago.  Currently in remission, however, have developed pain and disfigurement in the top joints of three fingers, two on left, one on right.  Could there be an autoimmune problem causing both illnesses?  If so, what type of MD should I see?  Thank you

There are several reports linking CC with forms of arthritis. I'd suggest checking with your GI person to see if they have suggestions for treatment.
